Moved by Noah's saintly character and resolve, Encrid proposes that they become friends, shifting his motivation from a mere mission to a fight to protect a friend. Encrid resolves to fight the approaching threats, including the Holy Nation's forces, to protect the monastery and its people. As he prepares to depart, he mentions that Seiki sent her regards to Noah, fueled by a desire to repay the trust placed in him by his companions.
