During their walk, Encrid becomes deeply immersed in his own thoughts regarding his martial progression, specifically his goal to master the 'Flowing Sword' technique like a continuous stream. The Ragged Saint, confused by Encrid's intense focus and eccentric monologue, observes him training at the barracks. When Audin arrives, the Saint asks about Encrid's strange behavior, only for Audin to explain that such eccentricity is normal for him. The Ragged Saint concludes that the members of the Knight Order are indeed madmen.
