During the duel, Torres uses a secret technique to produce a hidden knife from his sleeve, narrowly missing Encrid's cheek. The two engage in a second round of sparring, fueled by the adrenaline of their upcoming mission. When the ferryman arrives, he observes the two soldiers drenched in sweat and jokingly asks if their mission was actually just training.
