The elevator arrives at Basement Floor 12, a place previously known for leaving only pools of blood. The new employees encounter a horrific scene: a hallway littered with colorless, mannequin-like human body fragments and a colossal entity wearing a Security Team uniform with a straw scarecrow head. The scarecrow moves closer to the elevator despite not walking, wielding a sickle. As other survivors escape from a neighboring elevator in terror, the Security Team member from Room 666 (B13) uses black smoke to attack the scarecrow. The smoke causes the scarecrow to undergo a violent, crushing transformation, leaving behind a mangled corpse. As the elevator ascends through various basement levels, the Security Team member's physical form becomes increasingly grotesque and distorted, melting and expanding into a mass of thirty-seven eyes, long limbs, and black smoke. During this journey, the entity uses smoke to form text, providing cryptic messages like "Employee's Duty" and "Be grateful for your luck." Upon reaching the First Floor lobby, the entity briefly reverts to its human-like appearance, allowing a new employee to escape. However, the entity remains trapped in its distorted state, eventually returning to Basement Floor 13. On B13, the entity is confronted by Guard Teams who perceive its actions as a breach of protocol. Amidst the tension, Kwak Jekang, a Research Team manager, appears. He reveals he is in charge of experiments involving the Security Team's new Special Division and proceeds to list the names of the survivors from the elevator—including Jang Heowoon—implying they are part of his current experimental subjects.
