They escape into an elevator just as the darknesses arrive. Ho, despite being hit and bleeding, remains cheerful, suggesting they travel together since they are in a stalemate of power. Soleum realizes Ho is the same entity as the 'good' counselor from the Fox Counseling Room. While in the elevator, Soleum views the floor panel, noting the high danger levels of the lower floors. Upon seeing a button for Basement 96—an impossible floor labeled [REDACTED]—Soleum decides to press it, and the elevator begins its descent into the deep core of the ghost story.
