Through communication via writing, a rebellious student named Lee Gyeol reveals that Soleum’s presence and his act of moving Lee Gyeol to the infirmary have caused shifts in the school's mechanism, such as the teacher exiting the auditorium faster after Soleum killed it in a previous cycle. Soleum suspects the school's "teacher" is a monster made of stitched-together organs.
