Once alone with Sergeant J3, Soleum reveals he has actually recovered from contamination, which J3 verifies by noticing Soleum's lack of black smoke or dripping flesh. They discuss the possibility of using a Wish Ticket to cure contamination for others. As they talk, a sudden power outage and lockdown occur, accompanied by a distorted announcement. In the darkness, Soleum finds an old camcorder on the floor. Through the camcorder's screen, he sees that the man standing before him is not J3, but a horrific entity in a hospital gown with dangling nerves instead of legs—a ghost story known as 'We Record Our End.' As the entity chases him, Soleum is pulled under a desk by Supervisor Baek Saheon, who is also hiding. The environment shifts from an office to a hospital room smelling of disinfectant, and the chapter ends with a patient's hand seizing Soleum's camcorder.
