Recognizing this as a trap, Kim Soleum urges the worker they were escorting to leave immediately. The worker, however, had already seen the warning, and Kim Soleum realizes the worker may already be compromised. As they attempt to exit, an entity disguised as a worker attacks, pressing a light switch behind Kim Soleum's back. To avoid the light—which causes anyone who sees it to go missing—Kim Soleum and Assistant Manager Jin Nasol move blindly with their eyes tightly closed. The entity follows them, taunting Kim Soleum and trying to provoke him into looking. Jin Nasol, displaying elite skills, manages to subdue the entity by covering its head with curtains and tying it up, all while blindfolded. After turning off the lodge light to prevent others from seeing it, they navigate the dark path to the Osaek Mineral Spring, the final destination. Upon arrival, Jin Nasol immediately splashes the spring water on her face, driven by a compulsion to test its reported pain-relieving effects. Kim Soleum, noting her uncharacteristic lack of caution, decides not to provoke her. They successfully reach the end of the courage test, heading toward Fairy Rock to collect their prizes.
