While settling into his partitioned workspace, he encounters a 'Twilight-Class Darkness'—a peculiar radio that provides daily fortunes through scratchy traffic reports. His superior, Park Minseong, explains the nature of the company through an orientation video featuring two mascots, a fox and a dragon named Yonyong. The video reveals that Daydream Inc. is a secret organization that harvests 'Dream Essence' from supernatural phenomena (referred to as 'Darkness' or urban legends) to create magical potions. The Field Exploration Team is responsible for collecting this essence using a 'Dream Essence Collector.'
