Upon entering the counseling space, he finds a sunny, tranquil room. He realizes the nature of the 'Fox Counseling Office' ghost story: a customized counselor appears outside the window to help resolve the client's trauma. A version of Kim Soleum appears in the garden outside. The doppelgänger begins a session, asking about Kim's sleep patterns. Kim feels intense discomfort at seeing an identical version of himself. The counselor uses a mirror to point out a discrepancy: the doppelgänger lacks the inventory tattoo on Kim's skin. To investigate, the counselor asks Kim to extend his hand through the window, and the doppelgänger reaches into Kim's tattoo to search for something hidden.
