While navigating, they hear a friendly voice calling out to them, claiming to know a way out and warning them to avoid employees. Kim Soleum suspects the voice might not be human. They eventually locate a green-lit emergency exit door leading to the fourth floor. Kim Soleum realizes that if they stay on the stair landing without climbing the stairs, the door to the third floor will not vanish, providing a safe zone outside the supermarket's boundaries. He opens the door with a piece of paper wedged in to prevent it from closing, but is startled to find a person already standing on the staircase.
