The briefing for the 'Cheerful Theme Park!' ghost story begins. A-squad members (Butterfly, Praying Mantis, and Teal Duck masks) are present. Kwak Jaekang reveals that the ghost story is based on a traumatic incident involving a board game at a pension where twelve students went missing. The participants must enter the game and ride three attractions. Participants draw colored capsules to form teams; Kim Soleum draws red. However, the red team only has three members (Kim Soleum, Assistant Manager Jin, and a Y-squad employee). To reach the required twelve players, Kwak Jaekang throws the final red capsule to a gambling-addicted researcher. As the researcher catches it, the game board activates, swallowing the group. Kim Soleum realizes that Kwak Jaekang—a known 'ghost story-obsessed psycho'—intentionally manipulated the group composition to ensure the non-A-squad members would likely die to gather data.
