Chapter 129 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 129

In a temple, Yo-han summons Paimon to confront Gremory. Rather than fighting, Yo-han steps between them, invoking the Solomon and the Two Mothers judgment tale to force Gremory to back down; she departs in a flock of doves. Paimon then performs a flirtatious fire routine—Fire Arrow into Firewall—before Yo-han binds her with Chains of Light. She teases him about his preferences, reveals she can change her sex, and is banished back to her room. Alone, Paimon sulks and plays with Yo-han and self-portrait dolls, declaring her eagerness for the next summoning. Later, Yo-han leaves the temple, buys cake, and finds Ellie waiting outside the Cathedral. He gives her the cake, invites her inside, and internally acknowledges his falling-in-love feelings while she hides her clingy jealousy.
