Chapter 14 opens with the protagonist gazing at Soo-hyun's corpse, resolving to train Grizzly's strength control. A scream reveals the new housekeeper Kim So-ra, who had arrived late and witnessed the aftermath; Ellie rushes to her side. So-ra panics, stammering that an evil spirit pushed Soo-hyun through the railing. The protagonist comforts her with reassuring words about God and demons, pretending to be a seasoned expert despite this being only his second exorcism case. Suddenly Pastor Go Ju-won is flung midair, screaming for the Lord before collapsing dead against the wall. The group prepares to enter Emily's room: So-ra brings an antique Zoroastrian brazier, and the protagonist dons a white coat of names, straps on Holy Water, and burns incense. Inside, the Boogeyman possessing Emily mocks them; the protagonist performs the rite, sprinkling Holy Water while reciting sacred names. Grizzly's visible form pins Emily to the bed, and the spirit taunts before the protagonist delivers the final blow, dragging the shadow demon from Emily's mouth and feeding it to Grizzly. In the aftermath, a trembling Smith asks who Yo-han is, and he replies simply, 'Ghostbuster.'
