Chapter 26 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 26

In chapter 26, Yo-han examines Kim Mi-ryeo's wallet and discovers a student ID from his former university, realizing the cannibalistic wizard was a college classmate. Accepting the coincidence as a convenient scapegoat opportunity, he erases CCTV footage, takes Mi-ryeo's hair and parchment as necromancy materials, and plants De Vermis Mysteriis on the corpse to frame her as the grimoire-wielding culprit behind the university murder cases. While reading Cultes des Goules, the sentient grimoire De Vermis Mysteriis violently tears the weaker book apart, absorbing its contents. Exasperated, Yo-han orders Grizzly to hunt down and kill everyone in the basement wearing the same uniform as the staff member Mi-ryeo had consumed earlier, ensuring no witnesses survive.
