After entering a fog-shrouded campground auditorium, Yo-han inspects the room and storage, confirming no barricades are available. He instructs Ellie to keep the children away from the corpse. A prayer is offered for the dead, then Yo-han ascends to the rooftop and witnesses the magical fog reanimating freshly killed bodies into Zombies. Returning downstairs, he finds survivors arguing over a man who claims he was not bitten; Yo-han explains these are Occult Zombies, so a bite does not transmit infection, and he tends to the wounded man's wrist. He then heals Soo-ah's sprained ankle with a healing spell, leading to playful banter about Jesus and John Constantine. The group rests on mattresses while waiting for rescue. Soon, infighting breaks out among the survivors; Soo-ah cruelly blames Ellie for choosing camp over a hotel vacation, and Yo-han silences her with a head smack. The chapter closes with the group hungry, their luggage still on the bus, and Yo-han consulting a campground pamphlet for a nearby convenience store.
