On the rooftop after the zombie incident, Shin Si-on confronts Kim Yo-han, who feigns exhaustion. She apologizes for her earlier impersonation of him, and he explains his white lies. He hands over his pistol and confesses to using magic against the horde. Si-on questions whether he is a Wizard; Yo-han confirms it and reveals The Lesser Key of Solomon as a cover for his true grimoire. Si-on agrees to handle the firearm paperwork through the civilian collaborator lending program in exchange for case cooperation. As Yo-han descends the stairs, Grizzly disperses back into De Vermis Mysteriis. On the government bus, Ellie tends to the orphans while Soo-ah sits beside Yo-han. They exchange playful remarks about meat and milk, and the bus drives away from the campground into the distance.
