Yo-han subdues the demon king Paimon with light shackles from the Lesser Key of Solomon, taunting and dominating the kneeling demon before releasing him. Paimon departs with sarcastic promises of future intimacy, and a vortex obliterates the corpse-strewn party hall, leaving only Yo-han and the trembling Soo-ah. Soo-ah emerges, alarmed by Yo-han's bleeding forehead; he reassures her, appoints her his holy-water-making assistant, and they flee. At the hotel, a family doctor treats Yo-han's forehead wound while Soo-ah watches over him. Remembering his notebook, she reads a healing spell from his coat and places her hand on his forehead, chanting 'Bone to bone, blood to blood,' hoping to mend his injuries.
