Chapter 87 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 87

In this chapter, the Gnomes carry Yo-han away while Raziel, piloting Elsea's body, confronts them. Elsea briefly emerges and coos over the Gnome's cuteness, but Raziel reprimands her and pries the Gnome loose, sending it scurrying after its companions. Raziel then faces off against the red-haired Duchess Gremory, who reveals she merely intervened to save Yo-han rather than to fight. After a brief exchange where Gremory compares Yo-han to a hedgehog, the angel and demon part ways, with Raziel deciding to postpone killing Yo-han. Meanwhile, Hard and his mercenary band ambush the Gnomes underground, striking them with rune magic. Yo-han escapes into an electrical room, where he reveals his calm demeanor beneath the feigned panic and defeats Hard using a thunder summoning spell from the Baopuzi grimoire. The chapter concludes with Yo-han discovering his apartment engulfed in flames, while Si-on interrogates a captured wizard about his whereabouts.
