The scene then shifts to a Bureau for Abnormal Phenomena Countermeasures conference room, where officials brief on a surge of Anomalous Phenomena described as the Wild Hunt, a European faerie-and-monster hunting season equivalent to the Eastern Night Parade of One Hundred Demons. Shin Do-ryong, the Bureau director, listens and gives calm instructions. Later, in the director's office, Shin Si-on privately defends Kim Yo-han, arguing the university murders were Grimoire accidents rather than premeditated killings, and urging that Yo-han's help be enlisted against Yoannis and the current Wild Hunt.
