The narrator, operating under the identity 'ZERO_SUGAR' (Undertaker), has spent nearly fifteen days managing an extremely tight regressor schedule, which includes uploading videos, reorganizing federations, and preparing for a meteor shower, before finally finding time to meet Lee Ju-ho. The meeting is arranged via the Saintess of National Salvation (Jeong Ye-ji) at an elementary school playground that has been partially repurposed. Upon arrival, the narrator encounters Lee Ju-ho, a muscular young man who is unexpectedly acting as a teacher and guardian for elementary students who are hiding and spying on the adults from the shadows. Lee Ju-ho explains that after the Gate incident left a shortage of instructors, he and his mid-sized guild stepped in to teach and protect the children, while another guild member handles medical and library duties. The narrator expresses deep admiration for Lee Ju-ho's altruism, which is further cemented when Lee offers him a precious Zero Coke, thoughtfully chosen because the narrator's ID is 'ZERO_SUGAR'. After initial pleasantries and condolences regarding the narrator's past, Lee Ju-ho asks if the narrator can help him kill OldManGoryeo, the man he believes is responsible for his father's death. The narrator confirms he knows OldManGoryeo's location, a fact derived from the Saintess's clairvoyant abilities, and insists they head there immediately. Lee Ju-ho is hesitant, worrying about his duties with the children and his guild, but the narrator reassures him that the location is nearby. They travel to an affluent neighborhood in Pocheon. As they walk, Lee Ju-ho is nervous because the area is inhabited almost exclusively by his own guild members, causing suspicion among local patrols. The narrator confidently navigates through a checkpoint by claiming Lee Ju-ho is an old friend. Upon arriving at a detached brick mansion, which signifies high status, the narrator immediately bypasses complex security measures—including passwords, traps, and 'puppeteer' webs—claiming to be the original designer of such systems due to his regressor status. He storms inside, leaving a stunned Lee Ju-ho outside. Inside, he finds a person painting, whom he knocks unconscious from behind with a critical hit to the nape. The narrator assumes the target is OldManGoryeo, a male troll. However, as he knocks the figure down, he discovers the target is actually a woman in a white doctor's coat. Upon looking at the face of the unconscious woman, the narrator is shocked to realize that 'OldManGoryeo' is actually Sim Ah-ryeon, one of the 399 survivors from the Busan Station. Sim Ah-ryeon is revealed to be the person who accidentally drenched the decapitated Seo Gyu in blood during the tutorial incident. The narrator is left bewildered by the coincidence and the presence of the 'Sacrifice' at OldManGoryeo's hideout.
