Dang Seo-rin insisted that all members wear cone hats and carry broomsticks as guild symbols; Go Yuir jokingly withdrew his application but remained in the alliance due to desperation. The first battle against Ten Legs ended in failure within two minutes, resulting in Go Yuir's death and the collapse of the Anti-Ten Legs Coalition. In the fifth run, Go Yuir honestly warned Dang Seo-rin that Ten Legs was hiding its strength, leading to a strategic retreat to Busan. Through a finger-tracing exercise on a map, Go Yuir realizes Schopenhauer is also a regressor, having repeated his life multiple times. They form an alliance based on this shared secret. Schopenhauer proves to be an overwhelmingly powerful fighter. Dang Seo-rin tests him, and despite his disdain for the cone hats—mocking them as Harry Potter knock-offs—he agrees to hold the front line for thirty minutes. The chapter concludes with the assembled forces of Korea, including Schopenhauer, Dang Seo-rin, and Go Yuir, preparing to face Ten Legs south of the Han River to reclaim Seoul.
