Go Yuir reflects on the rarity of spending casual, unhurried time with the Saintess, contrasting it with their usual grim, combat-focused interactions. He considers the possibility of joining her as her Miko to stay connected across cycles, driven by a mutual understanding of their isolated existences. Their walk leads them to confront Nut, whose presence replaces the sun in the stratosphere, encasing the Earth in layers of glass etched with constellations. Go Yuir creates aura-platforms to ascend to the sky. Upon reaching Nut’s ‘eye’, he pierces it with his cane-sword, Do-hwa, causing the anomaly to split and seemingly die without resistance. Go Yuir asks the Saintess to unfreeze time to discuss breaking the cycles. However, the Saintess remains motionless, and a crimson lotus blooms in her chest. She reveals she is Nut’s apostle and incarnation; killing Nut killed her. She explains that Nut and she share fundamental traits—viewing the world as hell, controlling time, and possessing an omniscient perspective. Because Nut is the Outer God of time and the cycles, she grows stronger with each regression rather than resetting, making sealing ineffective. To prevent the world from turning into hell and to allow Go Yuir to continue his regressions uninterrupted, the Saintess decides to freeze the void permanently, trapping herself with Nut. She thanks Go Yuir for staying by her side, which kept her hope alive. Go Yuir places a Silver Bell bracelet on her wrist, promising to find a way to unseal her without destroying the world. The Saintess shares a final, awkward kiss and promises to see him soon. The Saintess freezes, becoming a statue in a colorless photograph, and Go Yuir is cast back to reality, alone and grieving.
