The mystery is solved when Oh Dok-seo reveals that 'Y' corresponds to the 'fake protagonist' in the prologue of *Omniscient Regressor’s Viewpoint* (ORV), a novel she reads for entertainment. Dok-seo explains that 'Y' awoke the ability of Prophecy, granting her foresight. Initially excited by her power to save the world and befriend the future Great Priestess, 'Y’s' vision shifted to the endless, visceral suffering of a man with pitch-black eyes—implied to be the Undertaker—who died repeatedly across countless timelines. Overwhelmed by the sheer scale of trauma, 'Y’ realized her power was a curse; she foresaw a life of witnessing this pain eternally and chose suicide by exploding her head upon full Awakening.
