He enters the villa, where Yu Ji-won attempts to ambush him with a hand axe. After he disarms her, he offers to help her dispose of the bodies, providing expert advice on avoiding detection by police, sniffer dogs, and CCTV, while questioning her preparedness for such a crime. She accepts his help, revealing a scar on her face that hints at prior violence. They transport the wrapped bodies in a car, with Matiz instructing her on how to stage the deaths as a runaway caused by gambling debts, transferring her life savings to her mother’s accounts to support the fake narrative. They drive to Bukhansan, switch cars, and continue to Dobongsan to maintain the illusion of movement and avoid suspicion.
