He invites Undertaker outside for a private conversation amidst a meteor shower. Outside, Jung Sang-guk confesses that Puppeteer is his daughter, Lee Ha-yul, explaining her surname comes from her mother. He claims she is a 'hidden daughter' and asks Undertaker to take care of her if he takes her away. The next day, Jung visits Undertaker’s lodging, handing over the address while wearing gloves and emitting a strong fragrance. He awkwardly refuses to accompany Undertaker, citing his daughter’s rebellious phase and claiming a housekeeper is present. Undertaker notes the inconsistency: if the family were stable, the biological mother would be there, not a housekeeper. Undertaker arrives at the address, finding an abandoned, cobweb-covered house filled with dolls. He discovers the housekeeper dead, hanging by cobwebs, surrounded by 13 dolls that move like marionettes controlled by the corpse’s strings. Realizing the housekeeper died over 30 hours ago, Undertaker senses Jung Sang-guk’s lie. He returns to his lodging to investigate Jung, only to find Jung’s corpse hanging in his room, suspended by cobwebs. Reacting instantly, Undertaker incinerates the body completely using his aura to erase all evidence and traces. Undertaker realizes the Puppeteer was a disabled individual, a fact obscured by Jung’s deception. The narrator concludes that Jung Sang-guk is the true culprit, having murdered his own daughter and framed her, leaving Undertaker to deal with the aftermath and charge Jung for the misfortune.
