Chapter 74

The Undertaker, acting as a guide rather than a guild leader, transports Noh Do-hwa, Sim Ah-ryeon, and Seo Gyu to Idea Ranch in a modified safari truck. He prepares snacks for the outing, aiming to bond with the group. Upon arrival, Sim Ah-ryeon expresses excitement about the trip, noting it is her first time being invited out by someone she considers a 'hyung.' However, the group is immediately unnerved by the ranch's fortress-like appearance, featuring a ten-meter-high barbed wire fence and concrete walls. The Undertaker dismisses these as secondary attributes, insisting on the ranch's true essence, and opens the heavy gate while simultaneously locking the truck's windows with iron bars, claiming it is for safety. This causes Sim Ah-ryeon and Seo Gyu to sweat nervously, though the Undertaker remains cheerful. The safari tour begins, introducing the ranch's 'horses,' which are clearly mutated creatures resembling dinosaurs. The first horse, Kkingkki, walks on two hunched legs and has green skin, prompting Noh Do-hwa to identify it as a dinosaur. The Undertaker denies this, but Seo Gyu excitedly corrects Noh Do-hwa, explaining it is a Velociraptor, and lectures them on *Jurassic Park*, much to Noh Do-hwa’s horror. Next, they observe Byojoki, a three-horned horse resembling a Triceratops, and Kongkongi, a head-butting horse resembling a Pachycephalosaurus. Noh Do-hwa comments on the crude nature of the names while the Undertaker proudly defends the animals' aesthetics. The tour culminates with the introduction of Keongkeongi, the ranch's prized specimen. The Undertaker coerces Sim Ah-ryeon out of the truck by threatening to expose her online identity as 'OldManGoryeo' on SG Net. Once outside, he throws a goat leg into the forest to lure Keongkeongi, who emerges as a massive, carnivorous predator with powerful hind legs. The creature roars like a T-Rex, causing Sim Ah-ryeon to faint from the overwhelming sight. The Undertaker embraces the beast, calling it his child, while Noh Do-hwa critically notes that he is overpowering a T-Rex with brute strength. Despite the terrifying nature of the animals, the group returns, and Noh Do-hwa proposes breeding 1,000 Keongkeongis for a cavalry unit. In the epilogue, the National Road Management Corps rejects the carnivorous Keongkeongi due to its high meat consumption (100kg/day) and instead selects the docile, low-maintenance Kongkongi for military mounts. The Undertaker laments the loss of 'romance' in cavalry warfare, leaving him to ride Keongkeongi alone into the sunset. Noh Do-hwa admits to watching six *Jurassic World* movies, confirming her isolation from modern culture.
