Joong-hyun presents a thick survivor report and a PowerPoint pitch, explaining the Association's goal to systematically track Tower floor statistics and prepare players against the Tower's information control. He notes he observed Jun-ho on Floor 4 and praises his sense of responsibility, though he admits his recruitment target was originally an ambitious unemployed person. Jun-ho questions the price of the information, and Joong-hyun states it is simply a ten-minute listening session. After the pitch, Jun-ho declines to join but offers future cooperation if necessary. He later asks if Joong-hyun's earlier behavior on Floor 4 was related to Association activities; Joong-hyun laughs and reveals they found a Solo Escape Ticket in a hidden room on Floor 3, confirming they had contingency plans.
