Jun-ho regresses and enters a void where a disembodied voice repeatedly asks how much he knows about himself. After failing to block the mental intrusion with physical mana barriers, Jun-ho realizes the soul is the true source of mana control and protects it, successfully resisting the entity. Upon returning to reality, the floor's guard angel arrives, panicked by the mana disturbance. An administrative angel in glasses appears, checks the system, and informs Jun-ho that he has not officially entered Floor 17, leaving him unable to clear the floor normally.
