Zetter explains that Su-hee climbs continuously without returning to reality to show her strength to someone special. He then shares his philosophy on efficiency and the burden of being a 'special' player, admitting his own fears about an impending conflict with the U.S. Government. Before departing to Face this crisis, Zetter gives Kim Jun-ho a medal as a token of his youth and asks him to keep climbing and protect humanity. After Zetter leaves, the protagonist contacts several allies, including Kang Chan, the Ahn brothers, Park Cheol-jin, and Dok Su-hee, who all respond positively. Reinvigorated by the connections and Zetter's trust, Kim Jun-ho and Choi Ji-won prepare to enter Floor 23 together. Upon arrival, they overhear an argument between two unknown men, one of whom boasts about his notoriety in Turkey, before the floor's environment violently shatters.
