Afterward, they sit to discuss their relationship and her past violent behavior toward him. Ji-won explains that her SSS trait, Sword and Soul as One, has awakened an ego in her sword, Bung-bung. The sword is mentally immature and reacts impulsively to suspicion or anger, which caused her to strike him previously. Jun-ho demands an apology directly from the sword. Ji-won temporarily cedes control, and Bung-bung speaks through her, offering a blunt apology while deflecting blame onto Jun-ho's own traits. Jun-ho accepts the apology, recognizing the sword's youth. Ji-won then proposes they get to know each other better to build a stronger emotional bond, suggesting they share their life stories to prepare for the future.
