Chapter 294 — Regression Is Too Much

Chapter 294

Kim Jun-ho questions angel Jake about the Heavenly Demon, a terrifying entity whose soul was implanted into the beastman Guntar. Jake explains that Guntar was originally a martial artist who inherited the Heavenly Demon's knowledge, but the angels replaced his body with the demon's soul to create a Colosseum fighter. They layered a sane personality and Guntar's memories on top, but an error wiped his memories and weakened his talent. When the Empress attacked Guntar, the Heavenly Demon's personality took over to survive, resulting in a draw. Now, the demon's consciousness is slowly awakening and will fully take over in three months, likely leading to a massacre of players. Jake reveals he is here to ask the players to find an Elixir to contact the Archangel and stop the disaster.
