Chapter 35 — Regression Is Too Much

Chapter 35

The chapter opens with the angel Zeziel reviewing a report from a 9th-rank angel, dissatisfied with the outcome. He judges a group of humans on Floor 0, starting with a bald, middle-aged man who is dragged onto the scales. Zeziel measures his sins and offers him a choice of payment methods, ultimately finding him unsightly. After the man's struggles subside, Zeziel moves to the next person. He realizes the group has no sins to pay for, likely because they defeated a hidden boss. He questions a ponytail woman and then a male human, who receives a bull-head sigil as a special reward. Zeziel offers him three Berserker-themed items; the man chooses the Pill to increase Strength. Zeziel sends him to Floor 1. The perspective shifts to the protagonist, Kim Jun-ho, who reflects on his quick transition to Floor 1, his unshared regression, and his feelings for Ji-won. He notices a familiar, cozy scent and finds himself back in his studio apartment, confused by the sudden location change.
