After the crowd assembles in panic, Jun-ho confirms the threat and outlines a desperate strategy: abandon the vast castle walls and instead barricade the narrow internal passages to funnel the monsters. He volunteers to block one passage himself, activating his Hero trait, while William and others prepare to hold the rest. Jun-ho tests the horde's intelligence by having Lee Miju, a player with a fire trait, shoot a flame at a lone wolf. The wolf dodges, but a goblin behind it is instantly incinerated and vanishes into light, proving the monsters are mindless beasts and their corpses cannot be used as physical barriers. As the horde finally crashes against the walls, Jun-ho descends to his designated post, ready to endure the onslaught.
