Ise and the others pass through a warding barrier into a vast, clear cityscape of parks and towering stone buildings. A giant black panther spirit beast greets them as 'rookies,' and Han Jae delivers final instructions about the Registry Office, annual missions, and the Order's rules before vanishing. Park Gangseo then leads Ise on a map tour, explaining the five districts, the pureblood system, and the upcoming exchange gathering, warning that this year's event will be dramatically different.
