Finding dokkaebi corpses but no children, he recalls Gonga's secret base behind the main hall, moves a sealing boulder, and discovers Gonga, Ilchwi, Woljang, and other young dokkaebi trembling inside. After a brief reunion, Ilchwi warns of an approaching enemy; a demon beast tamer on a Four-Wind Black Tiger attacks. Ise repels the assault with the Water-Arrow Art and a shadow art, ultimately impaling the cultivator with primordial qi sealed in the Yellow Great Parasol. More Foundation Establishment enemies converge, but Ise holds the den entrance until Gong Wol-a and the Dokkaebi Hall warriors arrive, clearing the battlefield with a single devastating qi burst. Gong Wol-a orders the children evacuated to Halla Gwitak, then leads Ise toward the main battle between Mongryeon and Bi Hyeongrang. Arriving at the clash, they witness Wiseong extract Mongryeon's Golden Core, leaving her body to fall.
