Through countless repeated time loops, Encrid memorizes enemy positions and identifies a strategic opportunity for an ambush. He leads the squad to a grassy field where he orders Enri to fire a crossbow at an unseen target, successfully killing an enemy soldier from Aspen's crossbow unit. This triggers a chaotic ambush. Encrid, Andrew, and a veteran soldier lead the charge, efficiently killing the remaining enemy soldiers. During the skirmish, Encrid uses a knife to defend a small black panther that had inadvertently distracted the enemy. The squad successfully wipes out the enemy unit, though one ally dies in the fray. Despite the victory, Encrid remains focused on the mission, ignoring a veteran soldier's warning about the path ahead and pushing the squad forward toward their escape route, accompanied by the watchful eyes of the black panther.
