Encrid leads a squad, including Andrew, Enri, and a veteran soldier named Mac, through the heart of the Duchy of Aspen's encampment. Having experienced this night through multiple time loops, Encrid possesses intimate knowledge of the enemy's layout and patrol patterns. Upon reaching an enemy tent, Encrid takes the initiative by slashing through the tent wall, prompting Andrew to enter and kill a sleeping soldier. Encrid then kills a second soldier, and Mac finishes the third. Despite Mac's intense anger and suspicion toward Encrid's reckless behavior, the squad is forced to follow Encrid's lead to avoid detection. Encrid navigates the dark camp with uncanny precision, leading the group through the center of the enemy territory without being caught. The squad eventually reaches a specific barracks guarded by four soldiers. Encrid reveals his objective to the group: they are to set fire to that barracks.
