On the 96th basement floor of the Cheerful Research Institute, Kim Soleum initiates a One-on-One Q&A Ritual with Director Ho Yuwon to extract information. The ritual requires alternating questions, truthful answers (unless stating 'Cannot answer'), and a 96-second response limit. Under the ritual's binding, Kim Soleum asks about Jang Heowoon. Ho Yuwon reveals Jang Heowoon is a sole survivor of a fire at a religious facility three years ago and suggests his wish is related to that fire. During the exchange, Kim Soleum reveals he has direct contact with the bison-masked Jang Heowoon, implying Ho Yuwon's influence over the bison. Kim Soleum then asks about the new employee, Kim Heowoon, and Ho Yuwon notes his background is identical to Jang Heowoon's—a pattern that suggests a manufactured role. As the elevator doors open at the first basement floor, the new hire, Kim Heowoon, is waiting for them.
