Kim Soleum tests his new custom equipment at the company dormitory. The equipment, a gray coin with a glove engraving, initially seems non-functional. However, upon flicking it, a translucent silver glove appears and requests currency. After Kim provides a 500-won coin, the glove accepts it and merges with his hand, acting as a telekinetic third hand with a 3-meter range. The effect lasts for several seconds per coin. Kim realizes the equipment operates on 'capitalist logic' and concludes it is a successful, versatile tool. He returns to his routine, restocking items and sleeping under the lights. His optimism is short-lived, however, as he arrives at work the next day to find a company notice celebrating his clearance of an A-Class crisis, leading to a sudden change in his professional position.
