He discovers that a black popsocket he purchased at a popup store has transformed into a functional C-Class item: when attached to his smartphone, it displays his memories of the ghost story's wiki as organized text. Using this, he identifies that the station names follow specific trends rather than literal meanings. The train arrives at 'Resentment Station,' but Kim Soleum realizes he cannot exit alone because many subsequent stations are death traps. He decides to build trust with the other eight new hires to ensure a group escape. He begins by conversing with a calm, short-haired woman named Go Youngeun and a timid man named Baek Saheon. Kim Soleum aims to convince the group to follow his lead to avoid the terrifying stations he read about in the records.
