Chapter 120 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 120

In Yoannis's hideout, his retainer Mia reviews an article about the Spontaneous Massacre Incident and asks whether the owner of De Vermis Mysteriis lured Yoannis out. Yoannis dismisses the idea and suggests they go out together. Mia brings a silver case containing magically modified S&W M500 revolvers, explaining they were adjusted as requested; Yoannis notes the importance of keeping up with technological progress. The scene shifts to a bridge where Kim Ha-eun, a hoodie-clad girl, contemplates suicide. A bespectacled woman in a wheelchair, calling herself Alice, stops her, dramatically tumbles from her chair, and is helped up by Ha-eun. Alice reveals horizontal-pupil beast eyes, declares herself a Wizard, and gifts Ha-eun a magic parchment granting a single wish. Later, Ha-eun awakens beside a gang of mangled youths tormented by the invisible demon Glasya-Labolas. She interrogates them for Park Ji-yeong's location, then mercilessly kills them all as revenge.
