Chapter 16 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 16

The Special Operations Division holds a briefing on the recent surge in anomalies, focusing on British necromancer Edward Coffin's entry into Korea. Team Leader Park and division agents discuss the situation, with Shin Si-on using a black-hole analogy to explain how powerful grimoires draw in weaker supernatural forces. She reveals that The Book of the Angel Raziel and the Eighth Book of Moses have gone missing, suggesting their masters may be behind the university professor murder case. A government official redirects the conversation. Later, in the break room, a female agent brings Si-on coffee and they examine Smith mansion case materials, discussing whether the victims' deaths align with Boogeyman patterns. Meanwhile, Kim Yo-han meets Ellie at a café, receives a Boogeyman business card from Smith via Ellie, and jokes about his Ghostbuster persona before leaving to continue his dual life as an exorcist.
