Chapter 22 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 22

Yo-han attends a weekend farm experience under the guise of a rural getaway, actually seeking materials to craft magic parchment. He encounters Shin Si-on, who is undercover investigating the farm as a suspected wizard workshop. A staff member greets guests and announces lunch, which contains sleeping drugs. The staff then incapacitate the visitors, collect their belongings, and transport them to a basement workshop. Kim Mi-ryeo, the farm's hidden master, inspects the confiscated items and discovers Yo-han's De Vermis Mysteriis grimoire. Excited, she reads its Latin text, but the book's bound familiar Grizzly awakens and severs her arms. Terrified, Mi-ryeo screams as the vampire attacks, ultimately beheading her in the workshop.
