Chapter 23 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 23

Grizzly, hungry after devouring Kim Mi-ryeo's head, hears Yo-han's scolding and rushes through a locked basement door to find his master. Inside a barred prison room, Yo-han pretends to regain consciousness alongside panicked kidnapping victims. Shin Si-on, Team Leader of the Special Operations Division, reveals her government agent identity and calms the crowd, explaining the facility is an organ-trafficking ring disguised as a livestock farm. She notices Yo-han's unusual calmness and privately suspects he may be the university murder culprit with a powerful familiar. After gunshots ring out, Si-on demonstrates supernatural martial strength by destroying the iron-barred door with her palm. She then privately approaches Yo-han, reveals she already knows his identity from the Smith mansion report, and requests his cooperation on the case. Yo-han, intrigued by her martial arts potential, agrees to accompany her despite his internal calculations about maintaining his Ghostbuster cover.
