Chapter 24 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 24

As the Special Operations Division closes in, ranch staff scramble to move the underground workshop while Kim Mi-ryeo's ghoul minions haul equipment. Grizzly kills Mi-ryeo, severing the Cultes des Goules link and freeing the ghouls, who immediately turn on their masters. The alpha ghoul howls a vow of rebellion and leads the horde into the basement hallways, where they encounter Grizzly. A firefight erupts among the tunnels as staff wield smuggled guns against the undead. Meanwhile, Kim Yo-han and Shin Si-on move cautiously through the corridors, exchanging a brief conversation about breathing techniques and martial arts before a bullet-pierced ghoul ambushes them. Grizzly reappears to lick Yo-han's face, and Yo-han successfully summons the De Vermis Mysteriis grimoire via its teleportation feature, though the book vibrates in displeasure at being cut off mid-summon.
