Chapter 28 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 28

Special Operations Division members gather at the weekend farm ranch to investigate the kidnapped victims and the invisible entity. Si-on and agents enter the wizard's underground workshop, discovering gruesome butchered corpses. Si-on identifies the entity as Glasya-Labolas from the Lesser Key of Solomon, while recalling Yo-han's earlier reaction. Team Leader Park and other team leaders piece together a convenient narrative: Kim Mi-ryeo owned the grimoire De Vermis Mysteriis, failed to control the Invisible Vampire, and caused the university murder case; the ranch workers and ghouls died in the rampage. Si-on cautiously questions whether the conclusion is too hasty, earning a mild reprimand from a team leader before Team Leader Kim restores order. A rookie female agent learns Si-on is the agency director's daughter. Meanwhile, Yo-han, safely wrapped in a blanket with cocoa, reflects on the unresolved tension between him and Si-on as they exchange polite parting words and a Ghostbuster business card.
