Chapter 64 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 64

In a van, Yo-han interrogates a trembling driver subordinate who reveals that Chairman Kim is hosting a cannibalistic ritual dinner called 'The Table of the Great Ones' to force Namgung Soo-ah to attend. Yo-han heals a forehead wound with a healing incantation and, upon arrival, Grizzly crushes the driver's head and drags two entrance guards inside to avoid drawing attention. In the lobby, more of Kim's subordinates are slain. Inside the candlelit banquet hall, masked attendees watch as Soo-ah is bound to her seat, revulsed by the grotesque feast around her. Yo-han enters, tastes the human flesh steak, and spits it out, criticizing the strong gamy flavor. He tells a bewildered Soo-ah to close her eyes if she wishes to remain his assistant. Grizzly then slaughters the attendees as the 'feast' begins. Yo-han reflects that he still must find Chairman Kim himself and, with armed subordinates approaching, the Lesser Key of Solomon materializes, opening to a page on Solomon's 72 demons.
