Chapter 90 — I Picked Up a Grimoire and Became a Wizard

Chapter 90

In a rented cafe, Yo-han meets Ellie for coffee. She playfully claims she 'lured' him with free coffee and cake, then brings him chocolate cake and offers to share hers, saying she wants to help him as he helped others. They eat cake together, and Ellie then leads him to her cathedral orphanage, offering it as temporary lodging. Young orphan girls greet Ellie warmly, and Namgung Soo-ah appears, addressing Yo-han as 'Mister.' The scene shifts to a bloodstained omakase restaurant where Yoannis, holding the fleeing De Vermis Mysteriis, confirms Chairman Kim is dead. A memory sequence shows Nazi-uniform Yoannis with vampire subordinates in colonial-era Berlin, encountering the young Korean orphan who would become Chairman Kim. Back in the present, Yoannis refuses revenge, stating he and Yo-han are already in a kill-or-be-killed relationship, leaving a bitter taste.
