Meanwhile, on a cathedral rooftop, unnamed mercenaries surveil the walled compound, debating whether to kidnap Namgung Soo-ah as bait. Their surveillance is shattered when a black-clad swordsman bisects one man, followed by an ambush from Namgung Soo's Sword Division. Lee Mun-ryong arrives, spear in hand, and exchanges words with the Sword Division leader before the mercenaries retreat. The scene shifts to a dream where Baopuzi the grimoire meets Yo-han, reunited with friend Shanhaijing, and is accosted by senior grimoires. The nightmare escalates with the appearance of the Lesser Key of Solomon and the kitchen-knife-wielding De Vermis Mysteriis, then Raziel strikes. Yo-han wakes drenched in cold sweat, resolves to return to Ghostbuster work to earn money, and prepares to face the escalating aberration chaos.
